9 Panel Hair Follicle Test For Custody Battle
Written By admin on
To whom it may concern,
My son is going to lose visitation rights for his daughter if he does not take a 9 panel hair follicle test . He took a urine test last week and it is positive for methadone, ecstasy, PCP and ketamine. He has admitted to taking ecstasy and methadone so our main concern is the PCP and ketamine. My son has been very open and honest about his abuse and is seeking proper help.
He has no problem taking a 9 panel hair follicle test. The judge is very upset that it appears my son has picked up more habits. We need to prove this wrong so that my son can maintain his visitation. We want to show that his ecstasy and methadone levels are going down and that he is not abusing PCP and ketamine. My son has made it clear that he has never touched Ketamine or PCP and there must be a lab error. Do labs typically make this error? Could this be a metabolite of something else that is showing as PCP? Will my insurance cover this test?
Hi Katherine,
A 9 panel hair follicle test is going to be the most helpful test in this case. A 9 panel hair follicle test is going to give an idea of usage over the last three months for the same 9 classifications. As far as there being a lab error or metabolite mix up the likelihood is very low. However, ecstasy (MDMA) tablets have been known to be drug cocktails. This means components of other drugs like cocaine, ketamine, methamphetamine, phencyclidine (pcp) and caffeine have been identified in these tablets. If your son truly believes he has not taken these drugs then maybe he was expose through an ecstasy tablet. In the last couple of years these “cocktails” have become more prevalent in the drug scene.
