Test arrangements and appointments:

You are not required to make an appointment; however, orders for 19-panel hair sample drug test collections may require specific test arrangements, same day collections may be possible but we may have to mail out lab orders and we therefore strongly suggest calling customer service and giving advance notice as soon as possible

Result turnaround time:

Results commonly take between 1 to 10 business days but typically average around five to seven, business days, on occasion taking one to two extra business days.

Specimen:

This test requires a minimum of 90 to 120 strands of hair, with the length being between one and half to two inches in length. *150 mg is needed, which is slightly less than the thickness of two #2 pencils. For head hair shorter than 1 ½ inches, a zero to 30 day hair test or a zero to 60 day hair test may be an option (*see 13 panel hair drug test or 17 panel hair drug test panel). Body hair drug testing options include underarm hair, chest hair, leg hair, facial hair, forearm hair, back hair, and sometimes pubic hair.

Detection time:

The 19-panel hair sample drug test has an estimated detection time of approximately 90 days from first usage. Extended detection such as 6 months, 9 months, and 1 year could be the better option if the specimen donor has long enough head hair. Segmented hair follicle testing can also be done in 30-day increments (*for extended detection hair drug testing or segmented hair drug testing see 13 panel hair drug test or 17 panel hair drug test panel)

Most comprehensive hair drug test. USDTL’s New 19 panel hair drug test. I am looking for the most comprehensive hair test possible and we will need to go back about 6 months.

United States Drug Testing Labs has just begun offering an 18 and 19 panel hair drug test. These would be the largest hair and nail panels to date. You will need a 19 panel hair drug test if you have a concern specifically about gabapentin or you are just simply wanting the largest hair drug test panel available. This 19 panel can be performed on hair, fingernail or toenail samples. However, this panel is not available beyond an estimated 90 day look back (hair). If you want to go back further, you could consider the 17 panel hair test or possibly the 19 panel fingernail drug test with a look back of an estimated 3 to 6 months.

Time for a gabapentin hair drug test. I found a prescription bottle in my bathroom for gabapentin prescribed to a person that I don’t even know. I have two teenagers that share that bathroom and they are both denying any knowledge of it. I was happy to find that you offer a hair test for gabapentin and need more info.

Yes, we have just started offering the 19 panel hair drug test to include hair testing for gabapentin. At first glance, or google, this may not seem like a big deal. You might be wondering why your kids would have a prescription for restless leg syndrome. However, as gabapentin is being more commonly prescribed, it is also becoming more commonly abused. Gabapentin is being found in a striking number of overdoses. It seems likely at least one of your children has tried this and probably have no real ideal how many is too much. A hair drug test for both children would be ideal but this is a new test and also the largest panel that is offered, which means it is not cheap! You could also try to talk with them and try to narrow down which child really needs the drug test.
