Drugs and drug classification:

Amphetamines, methamphetamine, cocaine, opiates, PCP, marijuana, opiates expanded oxycodone, hydrocodone, oxymorphone, hydromorphone. The drug test panels available for the 12-month drug test for hair are 5 panel, 5 panel expanded opiate, 7 panel, 10 panel, 13 panel and 17 panel drug test for hair which will include drug classifications like benzodiazepines, barbiturates, methadone, propoxyphene, oxycodone (expanded) , tramadol, meperidine/demerol, fentanyl, ketamine, buprenorphine, and zolpidem.

Test arrangements and appointments:

Please call to register and send a lab order for your testing. Orders for the 1-year hair follicle drug test collections may require special test arrangements. Same day collections may be possible, but we may need to send out lab orders via mail and we therefore highly encourage contacting customer service and giving advance notice as soon as possible

Result turnaround time:

Expect your results in 1 to 7 business days, but on average, they typically take 3 to 5 business days. On occasion, they may take an additional 1 to 2 days.

Specimen:

Your head hair must be 6 inches or longer in order to do this test. Body hair drug testing is not an option for the 1-year hair follicle drug test.

Detection time:

The 12-month drug test for hair has a detection time of an estimated 1 year from usage. Segmented time frames are available for this test in 30 day increments such as ZERO to 30 days, 30 to 60 days and 60 to 90 days. (Please note: Segmented tests are looking at an estimated time frame and cannot determine exact dates of when usage may have occurred, please call customer service for further details.)

Clinical applications:

The 1 year hair follicle drug test offers an extended detection time when compared to drug testing by urine, blood, and oral swab, useful in cases where the standard 90 day hair test is not long enough, allows for observed hair collection when adulteration of urine sample is suspected, used to clarify confusing or conflicting pre-employment, pain management and probation urine drug test results, court ordered hair drug testing, hair drug testing for child custody and divorce, personal and private testing via laboratory collection or private at-home self collection, testing for child or loved one, post rehab testing, difficult or impossible to adulterant.
