MMA/UFC regulations require that athletes provide negative results for HIV, Hepatitis-B, and Hepatitis-C prior to their event. This requires a simple blood draw, with which an HIV antigen/antibody combination test, a Hepatitis-B surface antigen screen, and a Hepatitis-C surface antibody test are performed. Results are typically available within 1-3 business days of the collection and a copy can be sent upon request.
