Detects: Infection of HIV, Herpes, Hepatitis-B, Syphilis, Chlamydia, and Gonorrhea at the earliest possible time-frame.
If you are concerned about a recent exposure and don’t want to wait three months for reliable test results, then the Early Detection Panel may be good for you. Some infections can be detected earlier than others, and we don’t see the point in making you wait. The Early Detection Panel typically involves visiting the collection site more than once so that you can test for certain things as early as possible. The first visit will often include early detection tests for HIV and herpes, as well as tests for chlamydia and gonorrhea. A second visit will include a follow up test for herpes, as well as screens for hepatitis B and syphilis. In some cases the testing is split into three visits, depending on how recent your exposure is and how soon you want answers. Our counselors will discuss your situation and help you decide which course of action is best for you.
