United States Drug Testing Labs has just begun offering an 18 and 19 panel hair drug test. These would be the largest hair and nail panels to date. You will need a 19 panel hair drug test if you have a concern specifically about gabapentin or you are just simply wanting the largest hair drug test panel available. This 19 panel can be performed on hair, fingernail or toenail samples. However, this panel is not available beyond an estimated 90 day look back (hair). If you want to go back further, you could consider the 17 panel hair test or possibly the 19 panel fingernail drug test with a look back of an estimated 3 to 6 months.
Time for a gabapentin hair drug test. I found a prescription bottle in my bathroom for gabapentin prescribed to a person that I don’t even know. You might be wondering why your kids would have a prescription for restless leg syndrome. However, as gabapentin is being more commonly prescribed, it is also becoming more commonly abused. Gabapentin is being found in a striking number of overdoses. It seems likely at least one of your children has tried this and probably have no real ideal how many is too much. A hair drug test for both children would be ideal but this is a new test and also the largest panel that is offered, which means it is not cheap! You could also try to talk with them and try to narrow down which child really needs the drug test.
