Alcohol Testing
There are several different methods to detect the use of alcohol. Blood alcohol testing is efficient and difficult to adulterate; however, it will provide a very limited window of detection. We also offer two different urine alcohol tests. The first is a basic urine ethanol screening, which will detect recent use of alcohol. It’s ideal for reasonable suspicion and post-accident alcohol testing. The other screen is an EtG urine analysis, which will provide approximately 80 hours of detection. It’s a very sensitive test, and is best used when there is a zero-tolerance alcohol policy in place. In some cases we can offer a breathalyzer screening, dependent on the local facility’s availability.
